My translation of the New Testament in the spelling known as Unified Cornish Revised (UCR) was published by Spyrys a Gernow in 2002. An emended version of that text was published together with the Old Testament as An Beybel Sans by Evertype in 2011. This latter was entirely in Standard Cornish (Kernowek Standard or KS). The present work is a reprint with minor emendations of the New Testa­ment in An Beybel Sans. Yth yw an lyver-ma daspryntyans gans nebes amendyansow bian a’n Testament Nowyth in An Beybel Sans.
Where passages from the New Testament were available in traditional Cornish, they were respelt in KS and incorporated into the text below. Portions of this kind include the translations by William Rowe of Sancreed of Matthew 2:1–20 and all Matthew 4. Moreover passages from John Tregear have been used, notably in Romans 2:17–24 (TH 14v) and Romans 3:9–18 (TH 7v). Further short passages from the New Testament can be found elsewhere in the Cornish texts, in particular in Pascon agan Arluth, Passio Christi, and Resurrexio Domini. For example Luke 22:10–12 below has been taken from Passio Christi 627–640. The rest of the text has been based on the original Greek, for which I used The New Greek Interlinear New Testament. Of value on occasion were The New English Bible, The Good News Bible, Y Beibl Cymraeg Newydd, and An Testament Nevez hon Aotrou hag hor Zalver Jesus-Christ. Such parts of the New Testament as had already been published in revived Cornish were also consulted on occasion.		Y feu remnant an text trailys warlergh an versyon Grêk gweredhek. As mentioned above, the orthography used below is Standard Cornish (Kernowek Standard) which is intended to be both authentic and phonetically unambiguous. The aim of this translation is to be readable and idiomatic as well as accurate.		Dell yw complys a-uhon Kernowek Standard (‘Standard Cornish’, KS) yw an lytherednans ûsys i’n trailyans-ma.
