Syai: U+E5B0 - U+E5DF

Proposal 1996-11-25; revision 1997-01-21

Syai is a conlang invented by Brian Lilburn (bpl@lynx.co.nz). Fruther information about Syai can be found at http://www.mn.medstroms.se/~pvemm/syai0.htm.

Some of the Syai characters have two names given: an approximation of the traditional name (in Latin orthography) and the standard Latin transliteration. Note that the ideograms have transliterations as well.

The character names are links to GIFs of the standard glyphs. In the cases where the glyph is displayed within a circle, only the material within the circle is part of the glyph.

The vowels that follow:

.a	roundedness

.b	continuity or familiarity
.c	impact-making or being put on alert
.e	streamlikeness, extendedness, and motion-facilitation
